Evan Gutierrez, Ph.D. is a clean energy consultant for TRC Companies, a global firm that provides environmentally focused and digitally powered solutions. His work centers on program planning, design, and evaluation for a variety of demand side management and demand response programs. He is particularly interested in those that deal with controlled environment agriculture, real-time energy markets, strategic energy management programs, or electric vehicles. With a background in neighborhood-scale sustainability assessment and collaborative planning, Evan approaches each research effort with a holistic lens and inclusive frameworks. His goal is to apply innovative methodologies, technologies, and datasets to inform the sustainable development of a region for all its stakeholders. In his spare time, Evan enjoys snowboarding and hiking the wonders of Washington state with his family.
