In his earlier years Bram got his Masters in Business Administration at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Bram has 19 years of international experience in lighting across different regions and functions. He first joined Philips Lighting in The Netherlands in 2003 based in Eindhoven & Brussels, where he was responsible for growing the LED business in its early days. From 2007 he was responsible for European and later globally for the hospitality and healthcare segments. Then Bram moved to Dubai, where he grew the Middle East lighting project business as Commercial Director and as Head of Marketing for the region for all lighting businesses.
Bram got involved in Horticulture in 2017 and grew the business as Marketing & Strategy Director for Philips LED grow lights, meanwhile the team has expanded up to 180 members who are operating on a worldwide basis. Signify combines its expertise in LED and knowledge about light application with our insights about plants to offer LED innovations that are an optimal fit to the growers’ situation. Together with growers, universities and research facilities across the world, Signify develops light recipes to optimize growth conditions for vegetables, fruit and other crops, resulting in a healthier, better tasting product that can be grown more sustainably.
