Jeremy Scherr is the Marketing Manager for Silver Bullet Water Treatment (SBWT) with 20+ years of professional experience working in agribusiness and food policy consulting, government relations, sales and marketing. For the past 6 years, Jeremy has led, conceptualized, organized, and executed SBWT’s marketing initiatives for the traditional horticulture, cannabis cultivation, and livestock production industries.
At SBWT Jeremy develops marketing collateral, manages the company’s web presence, coordinates events and trade shows, executes social media strategy, drafts company case studies, and leads corporate communications. Jeremy also manages government outreach and grant coordination. Highlights include managing the processes to become one of only four Colorado companies in 2019 awarded a market development grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and he part of a team that helped set up a research program at Colorado State University to study Silver Bullet’s technology in controlled environment agriculture facilities.
Prior to working at SBWT, Jeremy had a 17-year tenure at Informa Economics as a consultant, Senior Editor, and Director of Digital Media and Client Relations. As a consultant, Jeremy prepared and presented food, agribusiness and market analysis for clients that included the US federal government, multiple US state governments, international government agencies, NGOs, and some of the most prominent private companies in the global food and agribusiness markets. Jeremy was Senior Editor of multiple food, beverage and agribusiness newsletters and websites such as The Food and Drink Weekly, The Food and Fiber Letter, The Issue Monitor, The Policy Report, and the American Soybean Association Weekly Update. Along with project consulting and editorial duties, as Director of Digital Media and Client Relations at Informa Economics, Jeremy managed media outreach, client satisfaction, event coordination, digital media development, content sales, and product marketing.
Jeremy obtained a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Political Science at San Diego State University (SDSU). In his free time Jeremy enjoys hiking, golf, live music, and unique restaurants.
